The ‘Being in Balance’; our new business located in Shelburne; will be open to the community on Sunday, December 15th at 1:30 – 4:00, to celebrate our Grand Opening. We are located at 155 Main Street West and our phone number is 519 925-1999.
At the ‘Being in Balance’ we have a clinic which offers a variety of different healing modalities such as; Acupuncture, Acupressure, Registered Massage Therapy, Aromatherapy Massage , Reiki, Indian Head Massage, Reflexology, Medical Intuition, Psychotherapy, Chakra Balancing, EFT and Reconnecting Healing. We have a studio in which we will be offering daily Yoga , Tai Chi and Zumba classes.
Our Center has retail space where we will sell supplements, Crystals, precious stones and custom jewelry.
We will be hosting different programs, classes and workshops including Art lessons for children, Guitar lessons, Singing lessons and other programs designed for and focused on personal growth and development.
In October, the Being in Balance ran a contest at Centre Dufferin District High School in which the art students were asked to design and create a mural for our Yoga studio. The offered prize was $150 in cash and $350 in clinic services. The winner was Ms. Diane Davies, a grade 12 art student. Diane designed and created a unique and original painting which now graces one of the Yoga studio walls and which is an inspiration to everyone who enters the room.
One of our objectives for the Center is to offer help and guidance to everyone in our community and beyond, on their journey of achieving , maintaining or finding health and wellness.
We are implementing a program called “Helping Hands” which is designed to help people who may not otherwise be able to afford Integrative Medicine. We plan on asking visitors who come in to the Center to enter the name and contact information of someone who they think would most benefit from our Helping Hands bowl . Each month each one of our 9 practitioners and teachers will take a name from the Helping Hands and offer their services to the lucky candidate for free .
It’s very important to the Energy Team, that people in our community know that there are different options available for their health and that they can be found at the Being in Balance.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:00-3:00 the Center will host an event called ‘Community Acupuncture’, which will provide members of the community with an affordable way to address different health conditions. During Community Acupuncture, clients will have the opportunity to receive an Acupuncture treatment for only $20. This pricing will allow everyone to afford another tool in their health care.
