We are Souls having a Human Experience
In order for us to be able to communicate with what we are calling “Spirit” we should really have a good understanding of who we are first.

Okay so here’s the big question I find myself asking my clients and students…
Have you remembered yet that you are a Soul?
Once you have this remembrance things automatically start to shift for you!
What is a Soul?
According to the Dictionary: the spiritual part of a person that is believed to give life to the body and in many religions is believed to live forever. : a person’s deeply felt moral and emotional nature. : the ability of a person to feel kindness and sympathy for others, to appreciate beauty and art, etc.
According to me:
I have always known that I was different. From a very young age I felt different from the others around me. And it was very easy for me to sense things like people’s moods or personalities. I also always had this feeling of being Connected or Protected by something Grand! I could feel the magic in possibilities! I intuitively knew that there was so much more than meets the eye! Even when my life situations were less than ideal somehow some way I could sense that everything would be okay.
So what was I tapping into? What was this “sense” that I had?
It was ENERGY!
Everything is Energy and as Souls we are entirely made up of Energy but not just any kind of energy……
We are made up of the most highest vibrational energy in the Universe! We are pure Consciousness! We are Divine Light! We are pure unconditional Love!
Now I know you must be saying to yourself “Sounds great but I don’t feel all light and love most of the time. In fact I feel the opposite. Maybe I’m doing something wrong?”
And of course the answer is you as a Soul have chosen to come here into this dense physical body for the contrast. For the experience. For the Life Lessons and for Growth and Development on a Souls Level. You have chosen to take on this physical body in this lifetime with all the connections to the other Souls who have also chosen to incarnate into this lifetime too. And I say “In this lifetime” because as Souls our energy never dies. It only changes shape and form. We can and will choose to have many lifetimes depending on what we need to come to work on.
SOUL
Most people think that our Soul is a little spark in the middle of the body but it is actually much larger than that!
When the body leaves, the Soul and Spirit continue.
Soul equals life force-pure source. That spark of life that animates your whole being.
Your Soul contains your personal characteristics like your personality but it is animated by the very spark which comes from Spirit.
Soul is animated by the Spirit just as the body is the vehicle for the Soul in this lifetime. And the Soul is a vehicle for our Spirit through eternity. Our Souls are very important as this is what we are here and now. Our bodies are only a temporary vehicle.
So when we speak of the “Great Spirit” “God” or “Source energy” we tend to think that it’s a source coming from outside of us yet there is an aspect of it that exists within us.
People use the words Soul and Spirit as the same but they are not. Spirit is the life force-the essence-the animation. The Soul is the personality.
